Liability Assessment Report

The Liability Assessment Report is designed to provide the user with a detailed breakdown of their company’s estimated Liability. It lists all licences and approvals held by the company except those with an authorization status of Cancelled or Re-entered. The report provides a summary view as well as a detailed breakdown of the liability associated with each licence/approval as estimated by Directive 011.
Each report will include the following information: Licence Details, Authorization Status, Authorization Lifecycle Status, Total Estimated Liability, specific details on the breakdown of estimated liability for each licence, and expiry information for liability components. There are several different reports now available, and each serves a specific purpose as follows:
Current: Provides the most up-to-date calculated liability information available
Monthly: Provides a monthly snapshot of historical liability information, reporting began in April 2024.
Closure Quotas: Provides estimated liability information used in the calculation of annual Closure Quotas. Reports began for the 2022 Quota Year. Historical quota information for the 2022-2025 Quota Years is only available as a summary. For more information on what is included in the calculation of Closure Quotas please refer to Manual 23.
Orphan Fund Levy: Provides estimated liability information used in the calculation of annual Orphan Fund Levies. Reports are available beginning with the 2025 Orphan Fund Levy. For more information on what is included in the calculation of the Orphan Fund Levy please refer to Directive 011.
