Mineable Oil Sands Regional Development Status Maps

The AER, in cooperation with the mineable oil sands industry, has compiled eight status maps showing the expected status of development in the surface mineable area of the Athabasca Oil Sands Area at five-year intervals from 2000 to 2035. The development status maps have been compiled to assist in the assessment of regional issues and are based on the best available information as of December 31, 2001.
